Yes, you can use your existing phones with the Endlesscalls™ Adaptor we provide free of charge.
No it doesn't, but your broadband Internet connection must be active.
Yes. However, the firewall must be able to act as a SIP application gateway. This is not a common function of most firewalls. An alternative is to install the IP phone or Endlesscalls™ Phone Adaptor between the broadband connection and the firewall. They will then share the public address of the firewall. In this configuration, all non-VoIP packets received from the WAN are automatically forwarded to the firewall.
We will configure the VoIP equipment to work with your broadband service.
Technically, you can use a satellite Internet connection if the connection speed is at least 72 Kbps in both directions. However, we cannot guarantee top-quality service and performance using anything other than a broadband connection.
At this time, our service does not support FAX machines or modems. In addition, the service does not work with remote alarm systems.
No. Dialup internet connections are too slow for VoIP. You must use a high-speed Broadband Internet (DSL or Cable) connection.
Yes! However, your cable or DSL Internet provider may have requirements that cause a conflict. Check with your Internet provider.

About VoIP

VoIP stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol, which is also known as Internet Telephone Service. Quite simply, it's technology that enables voice data to be sent over the Internet. By using your existing broadband Internet connection and a telephone Adaptor instead of a standard telephone network, Endlesscalls™ can offer you more powerful features at a substantially lower price than your current phone provider. You can even transfer your existing telephone number(s) to Endlesscalls™, and add additional numbers that will ring to the same phone- impress everyone with your new number in New York City!
VoIP sends your phone signal across the Internet (just like email or a web page) and converts it back into sound at the other end. Anyone, anywhere, with any telephone can both call you and receive your calls. Since today's technology has made Internet call quality as good as or better than normal telephone conversations, you have nothing to lose and a whole lot of money to save!
It certainly can. Some choose to keep a cell or land line as well. If your Internet service provider loses connection or you lose power, the internet telephone service will be disrupted.

Phone Numbers, Dialing, and Billing

Nothing! Your home number will remain the same, unless you specifically request otherwise. In fact, you can even keep your cell phone number, provided that the number is within our service area. Check out our Porting Map for coverage in your area.
Yes. Simply contact customer service at 1-888-2-GET-ELC (243-8352).
Certainly. There are two ways to order additional numbers within our calling area: If you want to make outbound calls on additional numbers or lines at the same time, you must order and pay for additional outbound lines. Order a remote number (see below)
Absolutely! A remote number (or virtual number) is an inexpensive way to add a 'second' phone number in the area code of your choice. When someone dials your remote number, his/her call can be routed to your Endlesscalls™ Phone. Remote numbers are available to all customers in RNK's coverage area for a nominal fee. Think of the possibilities! For example, if you own a small business, you can purchase multiple remote numbers with area codes from Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C., and your clients will think you own a nationwide company! Or, if you're a mother in Florida who's missing her three kids going to college in Chicago, just get a virtual number with a Chicago area code, and your family can stay in touch for the price of a local phone call!
Yes, if you request it. Your number will be listed just like a normal telephone number.
No. Endlesscalls™ blocks access to most pay-per-call services, such as 900, 976, 550, 540, etc.
You'll receive your bill during the first week of each calendar month.
